THOMAS GOLD

Thomas Gold spent thirty years running contact centers, forecasting call volumes, building teams, coaching leaders and opening new sites from the ground up. It was a career spent watching how people and technology work together, and sometimes how they don't.

Through all of it, he wanted to write a book. There was always another launch, another busy season, another reason to wait. Eventually he decided "someday" had arrived.

Smartphone is his first novel, a techno-thriller about a family man, his hard-won life, and the AI assistant that comes to know him better than anyone. It grew from a simple question that stayed with him: what does the technology we trust actually know about us?

His next novel, The Aral Inheritance, begins a new series featuring Chris Fulton.

Thomas lives in Virginia with his beautiful wife, Cassie, and their five children, Christopher, James, Catherine, Gideon and Greyden.
